Connect Claude to your RankRise results

Before you start

You need two things in the RankRise app. Both are under Workspace settings, then Connected apps.

• Connected apps turned on. Only the workspace owner can do this.
• A key. The owner makes it under Your keys.

Connected apps come with the Growth, Scale and Enterprise plans. On Starter, the page shows an upgrade request instead.

Step 1: make a key

1. In the app, open Workspace settings, then Connected apps.
2. Under Your keys, type a Key name. Name it after the tool, for example Claude. Then choose Make a key.
3. Copy the key now. We show it once. If you lose it, cancel it on the same page and make a new one.

Treat the key like a password

It starts with rrm_. It can only read your results, and only this workspace. It can never change anything or spend anything. If it ends up somewhere it shouldn’t, cancel it and make a new one.

Step 2: add the connector in Claude

1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.

2. Choose Add custom connector.

3. Paste this address:

4. Under Advanced, add a header named Authorization. Its value is the word Bearer, a space, then your key:

5. Save.

Step 3: ask it something

Try: Where do we rank for our main service? Or: Which pages moved this month?

Claude reads your workspace and nothing else. It sees the same results you see in the app.

If it stops working

Two things stop a connection: the key was cancelled, or Connected apps was turned off. Turning Connected apps off cancels every key, so Claude stops straight away.

Check both under Workspace settings, then Connected apps. Make a new key if you need one.
